# Version 19.0.0 'Brave Captain' 2017-12-17 ## Important notes * The MKVToolNix project now contains a [Code of Conduct](* The MKVToolNix project's source code repository, bug tracker and wiki have been moved to [GitLab](## New features and enhancements * mkvmerge: splitting by duration, by timestamps or by timestamp-based parts: mkvmerge will now consider the first key frame within 1ms of the requested value to be eligible for splitting. * MKVToolNix GUI: the GUI will now save and restore the widths of columns in tree and list views. Implements #2057.

* MKVToolNix GUI: header editor: when closing or reloading a modified file, the GUI will now focus the first element that's been modified before asking the user for confirmation regarding discarding unsaved changes. ## Bug fixes * mkvmerge: fixed reading text files encoded in UTF-16 order UTF-32 that have different forms of line endings (new lines, carriage returns or a mix of both). * mkvmerge: MP4 reader: fixed mkvmerge's interpretation of edit list entries with `segment_duration == 0` when there's more than one edit list entry.

In that case mkvmerge was reading the whole content more than once. * mkvmerge, GUI's multiplexer: MIME types: added the `font` top-level media types from RFC 8081. This means that the following new MIME types for fonts can be used: `font/ttf`, `font/otf`, `font/woff` and `font/woff2`. * mkvmerge: MPEG transport stream reader: fixed slow speed on Windows due to lack of buffering.

* mkvextract: fixed slow track extraction speed on Windows due to lack of buffering. * MKVToolNix GUI: multiplexer: changing the 'subtitle/chapter character set' drop-down was ignored when the selected track was a chapter track. * MKVToolNix GUI: multiplexer: once a 'subtitle/chapter character set' was set for a track it couldn't be changed back to the empty entry (= auto-detection) anymore. * MKVToolNix GUI: header editor: fixed re-translating several displayed strings when the GUI language is changed if the language the GUI was started with was not English. Guitar Alchemist 1 21 Seriale. * MKVToolNix GUI: header editor: whenever a file did not contain a 'date' element in its segment information section, the GUI would erroneously ask the user to confirm discarding unsaved changes when closing or reloading the tab. * MKVToolNix GUI: job queue: jobs are now saved when their status changes in addition to when the program exits.

Sections/Browse similar tools. This sounds similar to an issue I had a short time ago. Drag and drop your files individually as normal (up to 40 files seems ok - after that it can really start to slow down for this stage) Then when its made all the tabs - go to the 'multiplexer' drop down and select 'actions for all tabs' then 'start multiplexing' (do NOT use the main multiplex button) It will then treat each file as an individual job. You can set options as normal and they will be applied to each file. It works really well but slow (as I mentioned below) if you have very many files.

Great tool for doing what its supposed to do. But I'm having a hard time creating multiple jobs in the job queue without ending up with one large file. I've got a bunch of albums in DVD-Audio format. I want just the audio files. So I extracted the.dts audio tracks from the MKVs and want to put them back into an MKA container. Ok, no problem. I can do all of the tracks into one 'album' MKA, but thats not what I want.

I'd prefer Track1.mka, Track2.mka, Track3.mka, etc. But I can't quite figure out how to queue up each of those individual jobs. Every time I add 10 tracks to the queue, I end up with one large file. What am I missing? I cant seem to get to the developer site of late so I'll add some comments and suggestions here and hope thats ok. First - get the program - what I'm saying should not detract from the overall use/functionality - its a great program. My use may not be average so bear that in mind.

I'm converting a very large number of mixed videos to MKV and have some issues with the batch process: 1. This procedure requires a drag/drop of the filenames - however this process is incredibly slow.

It looks like its evaluating each file as its dropped - this can take 40minutes for 150 files BEFORE you can tell it to process them - AND it locks out both the source (explorer) and its gui while doing it - Also it looks like its using almost no processor I/O or ram - its VERY slow. Can I suggest the drag and drop for batch mode just creates a file list then does the processing after you tell it what you want to do (meaning you don't have to sit around waiting for it?

Actual processing is VERY fast - often 1-2 minutes tops) The drag and drop time does not seem related to the file size. (which is odd) 2. When processing it frequently writes a 0KB file and fails to add warnings or errors. Going back and doing them manually converts them correctly. Remove all files doesn't work on batch files 4. I've had occasional issue with the job list not being cleared when I close the batch tabs on unprocessed files (EVEN when reloading the program - it goes looking for the files to process) 5. Dropping 600 files crashes back to the desktop - AFTER its spent an hour 'reading' the files The batch processing works and is a godsend (Thanks) but a bit of a redesign would be a great help.

Once again - thanks for a great program - I'd be lost without it. If there's a better place for this please feel free to copy it there.
