My OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Problem: When I plug in the xbox 360 wireless receiver the drivers will not load. The light on the device turns on and windows recognizes it as an Unkown USB device. • I have tried loading the drivers straight from M$ and have tried manually installing them. I get an error stating that windows found the driver but could not install it. • I have also installed the device onto an xp machine and it works perfectly • the package itself does state that it is windows 7 compatable as does the manufacture's website • I have also seen screen shots of the device working, on a windows 7 ultimate 32bit os but not a 64 bit. At this point I'm thinking it might be because im running 64 and not 32bit.and if thats the case would be better to dual boot with a 32 bit system or ubuntu??? Any help of guidance will be greatly appreciated!!
